Expo - Planet of Visions
Interactive, walk-through multimedia installation
For the pavilion ’Planet of Visions’ at EXPO 2000 (the World Exhibition in Hanover), we designed, developed and fed media to over 40 interactive complex individual objects. The data streams involved were huge, and included various video streams and a 130-channel real-time audio mix and feed. To handle them, we built a computing centre with over 120 computers.

Besides implementing the objects technically and artistically, we also created and managed the pavilion website and prepared video documentations, articles and other content.

Altogether, we invested over two years’ work in this project. The result was a production that fascinated audiences throughout its five-month run with virtually no errors at all.
